The UBC Sport and Exercise Medicine Clinic is a teaching facility. In primary care, priority is given to the training of second year family practice residents from the lower mainland and rural areas. Space permitting, physical medicine, rheumatology and emergency medicine residents are also accommodated. Final year physiotherapy masters students may do placements at any of the three physiotherapy sites.

The Division of Sports Medicine offers a Fellowship in Clinical Sports Medicine for physicians. Read details about the fellowship here.

In addition, clinical traineeships for family physicians are available. We are unable to accept observerships, medical students or undergraduate students at this time.
