Dr. Prasad graduated from the UBC Sport and Exercise Medicine Fellowship program in 1993. He has worked extensively in the field of sports medicine including local, national and international sports event coverage. His clinical practice covers the range of acute and chronic non-operative musculoskeletal injuries and overuse conditions from adolescent to older adult populations. He consults on ICBC and WorkSafeBC injuries.

Dr. Prasad strongly believes that exercise is medicine and promotes physical rehabilitation in the treatment and prevention of all MSK conditions. He also has extensive experience with joint, tendon and bursal injections. Over his 30-year career in sport and exercise medicine, Dr. Prasad has taken an active role in teaching numerous undergraduate and post-graduate students and over 25 Sport & Exercise Medicine Fellows. Additionally, he continues to participate in CME conferences, where he enjoys sharing his knowledge of musculoskeletal medicine.
